Howard University

Washington, DC

Welcome to LiveCampusTours @Howard - proudly HBCU and with guides excited to show you around. The 250+ acre campus (which students call "the Mecca") is located in Northwest Washington DC, just a few metro stops from downtown. But don't be in such a hurry to check out the Smithsonian or National Mall - there's plenty to see right here on campus. Walk through "the Yard" and check out Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel, Frederick Douglass Memorial Hall, and Founders Library - all National Historic Landmarks. There's a wonderful history here and Howard, and a great future too. Come check it out! Please note that LiveCampusTours - at Howard and elsewhere - are not affiliated with or endorsed by the university.

COVID-19 Update

Since our virtual tours are live and on location, prospective guides need to be living on or near campus to begin working. If you are not returning to school this fall, you are still welcome to sign up now and activate your schedule when you return - and we hope that's soon! We urge all guides to follow all local guidance to prevent the spread of the virus.
